Maar de aanvankelijke vreugde om de identificatie wordt al snel getemperd als het gebouw inmiddels gesloopt blijkt te zijn. Hierbij wordt ook een van de andere oprichters, Wies van Leeuwen, aan het woord gelaten die in 1985 verslag uitbracht over de sloop van de Alkmaarse Dominicuskerk. Gelukkig wist het Cuypershuis nog wat fragmenten van de bouwsculptuur te redden. Een ander type fragmenten vormen de verweesde interieurstukken. Er vindt al decennia lang een ware diaspora plaats van Nederlands kerkelijk erfgoed dat ongeregistreerd over de hele wereld verdwijnt. Gelukkig is er ook goed nieuws, zelfs een primeur: de verblijfplaats van \u00e9\u00e9n bijzonder specimen van naoorlogse kerkelijke kunst van edelsmid Marinus Zwollo is door zijn familie opgespoord!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Voordat we er meer over vertellen, een korte terugblik op <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanhellenberghubar.org\/index.php\/tussen-data-en-debat\/\">de twee casussen in het vorige artikel<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>De kennisuitwisseling die plaatsvond naar aanleiding van de wekelijkse vraag van Kerkfotografie wie de kerk op de geposte foto herkent.
